Finding Ease and Comfort in Labor: Positions, Movement, & More

Knowing how to use your body to work with – not against – labor and birth can make a huge difference in pain, length of labor, and need for medical interventions. Learn how with Dr. A’s 40 years of experience.

Introduction to the Class

In this class I teach the skills for when birth is going beautifully and naturally, even if it’s hard – in addition to the skills to help keep birth going beautifully and naturally, even when it’s hard.

Here’s what we’ll cover in this class – my best tips and things to do for each stage of labor, all of the comfort measures you need to know and what you need to know about medical pain management options. We’ll dive deep into positions and movements that support physiologic labor and birth—and help you cope with pain– as well as hands-on support your partner, doula, or midwife can provide.

These are the skills you want in your corner for your labor and birth – the ones I have used with mamas for almost 40 years.
